The patterns are dyed using a woodblock printing technique known as block printing, and are made in Jaipur, western India.
The process of carving the woodblocks and printing and dyeing the fabric is all done by hand.

Care Instructions: Indian cotton block printed fabric will fade.
Wash at room temperature separately.
After a few washes the colour will stop fading and the garment will be machine washable.
(1 tablespoon of salt and vinegar mixed with 2-3 liters of water will help retain the color.)
It can be washed in a washing machine, but be sure to put it in a laundry net and wash it on a gentle cycle.

Do not wash with white items.
Please do not soak the product in chlorine bleach or other cleaning agents.

These items are made by hand in India, a country with a generous attitude regarding material characteristics and sizes.
